"LOTS O" Florida railroading videos. Danny Harmon does a fantastic job displaying different locations in the sunshine state.

In this picture the "dip"(is there a word for this? Dip sounds weird) seems a lot deeper than the photo.

I think you may have a point there, it seems like the "dip" over the prime mover as you put it might be a couple inches too high. (I know, I know--picking of nits.)

Oh well, it seems like a very nice model otherwise. It's neat to see more East Coast content being produced.

Another thing is that the Ditchlights look way too far apart, they should bring them closer to each other.

It's a wonder they try to make anything for some of you. I hate to break it to you know it alls but...............

The only thing they might be guilty of is having the wrong number in the auto numbering sequence.

Forgive my ignorance cuz I've never been to Florida...... but why so many rock trains? For concrete and land reclamation? !**conf**!

I have to assume those are all inbound rock trains. I'm guessing a lot of native Florida rock is just sedimentary limestone and they need to import other types of rock from other states? !*don-know!*

Actually the rock trains are exporting the native limerock from quarries in Miami-Dade county in South florida. It's mined, crushed, and screened into aggregates for concrete, roadbeds etc. It's a major industry in South Florida.

What.....more P42DC's and Amtrak cars, we've already got some, can't DTG give us something NEW to play with....... *!sad!*

I'll probably wait until Easter and get this at 50% off, then.

Idk man, I think viewliners and amfleet IIs are pretty big. They could have given us the Amtrak Dash 8 instead of the P42 again, but I'm happy with the new passenger cars. They open up a lot of new possibilities in terms of recording NEC videos.

EDIT: Also, I'm pretty sure they are working on Tri-Rail locomotives and rolling stock (and maybe even some FEC ES44C4s) behind the scenes at the moment. It will probably be released as separate DLC (smart marketing scheme). This is just like how the New York - New Haven NEC route was released with the ACS-64 and amfleet cars, while the Metro-North M8 and P32AC-DM were both released as separate DLC at a later date.

What kind of track is being used? I don't think I have seen that track in US routes before. Are those Pandrol fastenings?

Also the tall signals seem new to me.

It is very good when a new route comes with new assets and rolling stock. A GE 4 axle non covered Amtrak Diesel on floating bolster trucks would be nice, but those passenger cars are very welcome. Viewliners are right at home on the Amtrak Cardinal which runs over the Alleghany Sub.

Might be tempted to buy this at full price if there are a lot of useful assets included.
