The correct font seems to be Arial, if not, very close to it....

Can you use the fonts from the 70MAC? I think they're right, aren't they?

Could someone look at the right side of the rear truck to see if yours has a part (a strut?) missing? I just want to confirm that it's not just mine.

Finally! news of a real simulation disaster. Perhaps DTG hasn't obtained a license from London Fog yet? Oh, the (in)humanity of it all!!!!! !*hp*!

The correct typeface is Helvetica bold. You could get away with using Arial, though; not many people would be able to tell the difference. Aside from me, of course. !*roll-laugh*!

The only ditchlights that don't work for me is on the YN3b ES44AC.

They don't turn on, they flash for 30 seconds after the horn is used.

Maybe it's not prototypical for the CSX loco's to have them? I don't know what the reference ES44AC is that DTG used for this repaint. If it was the NS Heritage ES44AC's, their ditch lights do flash.

There is a switch on the control stand. Have you switched the ditchlights off perhaps? Use the J key to toggle the switch.
CSX_ES44AC_Cab.jpg

Apart from the wrong font for the cab numbers, from the outside the engines look otherwise OK to me. The new trucks have rotating end caps on the axle bearings.
The glare effect has been applied to the headlights.
Inside the cab, the cab light (L-key) and step lights (K-key) panel switches don't work even though they appear to be animated in the engine.bin.
DTG still haven't made the cab instruments and panels work properly. The blue current bar (amps meter) is mapped to the smaller green tractive effort read out.
The amps are limited to 1000 when pulling and zero when braking, which is wrong.
And the couplers are springy and get pulled out of their pockets on this powerful loco.
The traction curves should be different for an AC model with self steering trucks to make it more powerful than a straight ES44DC.
Lots of small errors which can easily be corrected with proper dedication and testing ...

Which give me the idea: are photorealistic replacement cabs with proper working instruments possible? They will require extensive scripting but are a small commercial opportunity if the EULA allows it.

The BNSF ES44DC is 50% off now at Geenmangaming: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/nl/en/pc/games/strategy/bnsf-es44dc-loco-add-on/
As is Marias Pass: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/nl/en/pc/games/simulation/train-simulator-marias-pass/
and several other routes and locos; http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/nl/en/pc/games/simulation/train-simulator-pacific-surfliner-la-san-diego/

I have checked the BNSF ES44DC base model, its cab and steps light switches are working.

Searching around the web, I've found this: http://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/topic/es44ac-traction-curve, which reasonbly matches the TractiveEffortVsSpeed.dscv (kN/MpH).
Tractive effort is max 880 kN at full throttle up to 8.5 MpH. Dunno if this info is authorative, though.

Flashing Ditchlights are prototypical on CSX engines.

The Ditchlights don't turn on or flash on the YN3b ES44AC but the nose light is the only thing that comes on in the game when you turn the lights on. But the lighting with TSX makes it look like there is Flashing Ditchlights.

Long Story, Short: The CSX ES44AC YN3b's lights are broken.

Let's not make this any more confusing than it has to be people!
