Would like to see the time era from the 70's-80's. Had lots of freights and industry at those times, (plus Conrail) before they all closed and moved to China and Mexico. !*don-know!*

P&W, PAS and (IIIRC) Housatonic are also players. This could be quite colourful!

Blehh, not another passenger route. I am so sick of them in my opinion.

The southeastern freight routes of the US need some attention. Sadly, no known routes exist for it. !*not-ok*!

Would not have picked that, and it still begs the question of the Norfolk Southern, who are an official DTG partner but are not represented anywhere (unless that is still to come?)

I am just happy to wait on my other New Haven Rail Road extension:)

!*cheers*!

There's a few NS locos, but I agree it's odd to have a partner and not have at least a route with them. Only good news here is I won't have the urge to buy this one right away *!lol!*

On RSC/Dovetail's Facebook, I asked if they planned on implementing catenary (as the picture showed none) and they said it's still an early development picture, implying it will be added.

FWIW there's a respectable amount of freight service east of the Hell Gate Bridge. To be sure, the local switching isn't what it used to be back in the '50s and early-'60s, but there's a major connnection in the Bronx between CSX and the regional carriers, especially since New York replaced the clearance-restricted St. Mary's tunnel with a new line to Port Morris along the east bank of the Bronx River. When the Trans-Hudson Freight Tunnel is fially opened (it will be, probably sooner than later, because the expansion of trans-Hudsn highway capacity is severly cost prohibitve), that will be a game changer.

FWIW, I'd be willing to pay for a new route's worth of freight enhancements to the original NEC, should DTG be willing to go that route. The I-95 Coalition's Mid-Atlantic Rail Operations Study has identified a program of improvements to the corridor that read very much like a vision of what a 21st Century Pennsy would have been had it had the foresight and motivation to respond to the changes in its traffic base. PM me if you're interested in the background information.
