Actually no, but you could try posting a question on their facebook page or emailing support. They do answer qestions quite often. I'll ask Matt and see if he knows. I know they have in-house testers but I suspect, though I'm not absolutely sure, that they also have testers working outside the offices. Maybe Mannu can shed some light on the subject. His SD45 has just gone "live" on Steam so he's already been through the whole process.

Thank you :D

I've spent almost every day since May on this one loco, so it really has been a labour of love (and to think I knew next to nothing about US steam before I started!). It's been great fun building the Consolidation. Hopefully I'll be ready to start on the next steamer early in the New Year.

Yes, when you're ready to start on the tutorial I'll be ready to join you.

Want to at least make one engine from the 30's to run on my 30's route I'm working on.

Also, I'll be ready to see what you might build next.

Most likely I'll be following by one simple blueprint I found for a engine when I start on mine.
Jonathan Burton Peters Jr, Big J

The Legend Of The New York Central System Shall Live Again In TS2021.

Mrennie, what is your next project?

It certainly looks beautiful sitting in the sun on the RSC Winter Showcase email. Am looking forward to a leisurely roll along my favourite route, the COA

I'm still not absolutely sure, because it depends very much on getting hold of technical drawings. To achieve the level of detail I want in a model, it's essential to have as complete a set of drawings as possible, like the dozens of 1/8th scale original drawings I have for the Consolidation. The overall front/side/top elevation drawings you can get from books and magazines are useful guides but they just don't have all the information that I need. The ones I have of the Consolidation are not just the overall erecting diagrams, but also the actual drawings of nearly every part, with detailed measurements such as the radii for every curve, or the sizes of the nuts and bolts (yes, many of the nuts and bolts on the model are made to scale!). That, unfortunately, rather limits the choices. What I am sure of though, is that I want to do more US steam. Something like a P-2 "Mountain" type (or an S-2).

Thank you :D

I sent them another 20+ screenshots just before the newsletter went out, but it was too late. So the newsletter is still linking to the shots from the middle of November. A pity, because I've done a lot more to it ...more controls in the cab, improved texturing and more details everywhere. I'll take some more today and post one or two here.

That would be excellent! Close ups of everything, from as many angles as possible, would be really useful. I wish i could get up close to one myself, but I live too far away.
