Michael, heartiest congratulations to you and the rest of the team. Very impressed, and delighted. Just the boost TS20xx needed. Very well done.

Do you know if he has plans to add the Searchlight sounds to the SD40's? Thanks!

Hope so. Not having that removed pack for the dash 8 mod is a kick in the plums

Initial Impressions are that this route is amazing. The scenery is really well done, it’s a very interesting route operationally, and the scenarios do a great job of demonstrating the operational possibilities. Well done to all involved!

With this installed i get what I can best describe as a “double bell”, it seems like there two bells being activated/deactivated and it can be hard to get both aligned and turned off after blowing the horn. Anybody else experiencing this? Not the first time it’s happened when using a Searchlight sound mod package.

You’re in luck, Searchlight has released a bunch of their discontinued sound packs for free on their website. I believe it includes the FDL you would need for the dash 8.

Hi,

The very first Workshop scenario has been published by High Iron Simulations for the CSX Hanover route.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2221340002

The 40-minute scenario "Ghost of the Ma & Pa" features the Yorkrail GP9 and plenty of challenging switching tasks on Hanover's yard and industrial tracks -- and those unforgiving 1% grades they were built on!

Cheers,
Michael

Thank You TruRail Simulations!

Don't suppose we could encourage you guys to do something for Gettysburg & Northern, Winchester & Western, and Maryland Midland, could we?

Possibly. Since the Hanover route is currently in modern CSX configuration we'll be focusing on G&W, so they're not out of the question. I'm a big sucker for the WIld Mary though. !**duh*!!

I have no problems with modern versions of G&W, OmniTRAX and Pioneer Railcorp versions of locos for this route.
