The rubber band effect hasn't been fixed in the latest patch. Have posted about on Milepost's FB page.

I gave it a test the other night and didn't have the issue. I completely removed the addon and redownloaded it when making the update.

That is using the Big Boy scenarios. Anyway, I shall try what you did like the smoke puff in reverse didn't show up after the update but did after I opened the AP file and extracted it to see what files had been updated.

Smokbox's Big Boy should be far superior to this one. Sometime next year it should be ready. A new ground up build.

DTG did NOT make this route. Milepost Simulations obviously developed Wasatch, it's DTG who releases them onto Steam...

Yes, that is right but DTG releases the patches to Steam. I have downloaded the route again and shall give it run again in a day or so.

It appears that we need to review the procedures about how things are done. Any and all releases that come through Steam no matter who the creators are come through DTG so they are the ones reviewing patches and such. This all goes from Creator X to DTG to Steam to us. The only stuff that goes direct is if it's posted here or some other independent web site.

I believe that most of us are aware that some of these patches get lost in this shuffle. I am thankful to those creators who provide patches in a timely manner here or on their own site. I personally know of at least 3 patches that were supposedly sent to DTG but never made it through the process.

I think there is a misunderstanding when we talk about the Big Boy. The Wasacht route is designed by Milepost Simulations. But not the Big Boy.
The current Wasacht BB is the very same RSC that was released 5 or 6 years ago and that had at least two or three more updates released by DTG (the later worse than the first). There are also the upgrades published here in RWA by dtrainBNSF1 (and others) that fixed many issues in the physics of the loco **!!bow!!**. Three years ago there was a DTG update released in a standalone BB that really added more problems to the existing ones. What was worse at that time is that it made the dtrainBNSF1 mods unuseful.

So I started to work on that update and used partsof the dtrainBNSF1 mods along parts of DTG update to get my own modded Big Boy.
It works pretty well and I am quite happy with it and I believe it to be the best version I know of (but that is my opinion only). It has more particles (that use some coding taken by third parties locomotives) and it uses a whistle from the RWA library.

I have not the Wasacht route yet but what I can see in FanRailer´s video seems to be a physics that can work fine.

The slingshot effect after you release the brakes with Bigboy and the reefer wagons hasn't been fixed. What I do which you shouldn't have to if I have to slow down for a speed restriction is to slow to about 20 MPH below the speed limit so that you don't get slingshotted over the speed limit after you have released the brakes. I do appreciate people making patches to fix this but it really is up to Milepost to fix it.

This was released over 2 months ago. This should be more time enough time to fix at the developer level.

Yes, I have sent DTG a ticket about this. I actually thought that I had already done so but couldn't find it in my list of sent tickets on DTGs support page. Yes I have on the 30th September.

Have had a reply from Milepostsimulations about this from a post I made about a week ago on there FB page saying that they had thought that they had fixed the issue but have made another patch and are sending it off to DTG. I had an email back from DTG about this after sending them a ticket and the reply was something to do with the manuals and to contact Milepost Simulations. No wonder people don't want to send tickets to DTG when you get stupid replies. Perhaps they are stressed out.
