You can't fault a developer for not having logos on rolling stock. The logos are owned by their parent companies and if that company doesn't want their logo appearing in a game, they won't let it. Hence why you don't see companies like J. B. Hunt, APL, K-Line and such on intermodal containers in the game and why you don't get Metrolink on the Los Angeles Commuter F59PH dlc or Coaster on the San Diego Commuter F59PHI dlc. I wouldn't hold that against them as the basis of an argument for a refund, especially when someone from the community can simply repaint it for free here. !*not-ok*!

If you read my post you will see that I wasn't actually blaming the developer. It was only a minor issue and not my main reason for a request for a refund. I'm well aware of the reasons for logos not appearing on stock.

Buzz seems to make the route look good with his screenshots. What's not well-executed on this route? Is something out of place? Is there a blank space somewhere without scenery? A broken track somewhere? Poorly-written scenarios? Saying it's not-well executed could mean several things.

Those pictures have something missing when it comes to scenery. In the orange circles/ovals there could be more scenery in that location. the DEV of this route is semi-known to not have much scenery on their routes, or what I have read anyways. Yes, they are good routes, but they still lack. Maybe I'm being too harsh. After all, I find stuff missing from the legendary Stevens Pass route!

Here's a picture of the actual building. Doesn't seem to be a lot around it. By the way it ain't a depot anymore, it's the Chamber of Commerce building.

These look pretty complete to me and some are breathtaking. If you look at Grimshaw on Google Earth there isn't much there so if you put something in there along the tracks you would be just making it up.

If you like building long trains and then hauling them up and down some serious elevation changes then this route is for you. If you want to barrel down a mainline at 60 not so much.

See, this is called a discussion.

Now I might agree with you on the first and last shots - those parts do seem a bit "flat" scene-wise. Maybe a small pile of gravel or some weeds, various clutter etc. could add a bit more flavor for that patch in the first shot, but that's it. The second shot looks fine to me. The shot with the now chamber of commerce building looks like it could use a fence, some sidewalk (Do we even have sidewalks in TS2018??? I don't remember.) and a bush, but not much else really.

For me those spots would stick out more if I were focused on getting screenshots, which plenty of simmers are as evidenced by the sreenshot competitions held over here and occasionally over on train-simulator.com. If I were just driving, though, I wouldn't give those scenes another thought. That's just me, though.

No to belabor the point but my photography probably left a little to be desired making this scene look plainer than it actually is. Here's a couple from different angles. I plead guilty to adding a couple of cars.

It has the same brakes as soldier summit, which I believe are Mike Rennies. Although I think something is screwy with them. Also the brake gauges are totally broken on mine.

Hi Buzz!

I haven't bought the route and, realistically, unlikely to as it's not a part of Canada that particularly interests me. (BC Rail north of Lillooet, then we might be talking). However that referenced screenshot with the station building plonked down on bare terrain just screamed MSTS 2003 at me, not really what most freeware authors would hold as a minimum standard in a contemporary train sim - let alone a route being sold as payware.

Yeah except if you read the thread it's not a station. It's the Peace River Chamber of Commerce building.
