There is a CalTrain F40PH-2CAT. http://railworksamerica.com/index.php/d ... e-repaints

Thanks for this link. So it looks like the F40PH-2CAT repaint was released to RWA, but the gallery cars might be vaporware?

No no no i meant to say that the Gallery Car repaints use The Racetrack DLC as a basis.

The Key System went over the bridge, nothing more.

Should be released in two weeks. Which is quick. Nice little gift for myself.

Ahh.. the simple things.

One of the DTG admins said as much in a comment thread in the article on their website. I'm cautiously optimistic about it, but very, very very excited for the release!

Now my project is to either find branded gallery cars or try to repaint the Metra ones myself before the route comes out.

I feel 2 weeks is too early. They should really take their time.

Obviously pretty far from perfect (that Metra sign is bugging me), but here's a start on gallery cars, paired with Francisco Nunez's F40PH2-CAT available here in the file library.

The metra sign is a decal if I remember correctly.

I've taken a look through the BNSFChicago\System\TexturesCMT directory where the logos point to, but can't figure out which of the Metra logos is the one the gallery car files want. !**conf**!

The ChicagoLogos.TgPcDx file is the one you need to change.

Thank you Buzz! That was a huge step in the right direction:

Not quite sure what's going on with either car's Caltrain logo, but still an improvement over the Metra logo. I'll keep tinkering at it.

Hopefully this route comes out good.

Let's not forget, they didn't just start on the route when it was announced on their website/facebook, it was being built for some time now, even before they mentioned it when they announced TSW.
