A serious question now - does anybody know why this road name blocking doesn't seem to apply to Trainz rolling stock? This is the only sim it seems to be an issue![]()
Just a thought...

In places where narrow gauge and standard gauge shared a dual gauged yard, engines assigned to switching would have an extra offset couple in order to couple to the cars of the opposite gauge or an idler car was used. The Rio Grande and East Broad Top are two railroads that did this. The East Broad Top also used to lift standard gauged cars being interchanged and swap out the standard gauged truck for narrow ones. I am unsure if the C&S had anything similar. They had dual gauge all the way into Denver, and I believe their main transfer yard was there.

the dual guage track isnt "functional". only the stock specially built for the dual gauge yard will work. notice in the screenshot below, the caboose is centered like normal![]()

The caption below that picture clearly states that both the stock car and caboose in that picture are standard gauge.
"To bring life to the dual-gauge trackage around Golden on the Clear Creek Narrow Gauge route, a selection of standard-gauge rolling stock will also be provided, including a stock car and caboose (above) as well as other equipment. "
