Where are the traction motors, the trucks are completely see through? At least all wheels turn. About braking: try to apply power while the air brakes are engaged and see how far you get down the grade?
Unless DTG up their game, this will be the last modern Diesel I'll buy from them. I have more than enough look alike 3rd generation GE and EMD's now. What else is there left of present day locomotives? 6000AC's and SD90's are considered failures of the horsepower craze.
G-Trax, Reppo, LordMannu, VCR all have produced better stuff, and filled our rosters nicely with unique creations.
I applaud DTG on expanding their license by bringing more CSX, BNSF, NS or UP instead of splintering their efforts over shortlines and regionals or even fictionals. Stupid DTG for not acquiring a Metrolink licence beforehand.

Now dump those Bombardier zeppelin cars in a fictional scheme. Pacific Ocean Shore Lines would do nicely on the Pacific Surfliner route. Inland Empire Commuter Service can call at San Bernardino. Why let those cars go to waste?
I critizise DTG for not doing more with Horseshoe Curve, NEC north and south of NYC, Donner Pass and the other routes.
Bring us more and varied rolling stock of older era's to expand our gameplay with those routes even more.
I've said this many times before: I'l gladly buy more Pennsy steam, Diesel or electric, classic Santa Fe, SP, UP locomotives and trains.
Bring us E8's, PA's, TrainMasters, U Boats, Turbines, stainless steel streamlined passenger trains, a decent heavyweight train, cabooses with marker lights, sets of older freight cars to complement what we already have.
