Which scenario specifically? I haven't had any trouble loading passengers yet, as long as the train is stopped correctly at the platform. And if you go too far, backing up doesn't let you load or give you a green check mark.

There is a problem. but has nothing to do with P42DC.
Platform markers at Browning are too short. I think boarding/unboarding triggered when at least one passenger car stopped against the platform.
For the Builder trainset you have 2 locos and baggage car in front of the train. With this consist, you need to stop your first "real" car (i.e. coach, sleeper) against the platform, not baggage car. If you stop using HUD counter zero, your largest section of the train is too far off the platform.
p.s. in my scenarios I usually add my own stop markers. This situation could be saved by adding scenario marker in proper location.
