Something about the model is different.

Is the front rake/gaurd/plow (whatever it is called, lol) bigger on this model than the original Genesis?

Optical illusion?

Still there. It just happened to me after loading a scenario freshly started this morning.

Well, Mr. Coffee, seems there's this little thing called a manual. (soon as I read it I'll let you know) !!det!!

I read it, Buzz. It's a quick read, and there no hint that I could see.

On a side note I haven't had time to test out the new P42 yet, but hoping I'll have time to this weekend. Little disappointed to hear the E brake problem wasn't fixed, but can't complain about a free update.

Executing a perfect stop from 100 mph (160 km/h) coming into New Brunswick on the Northeast Corridor. Consist is a P42DC double header towing 12 Amfleet Cars. This showcases the skill required in balancing out maximum dynamic braking and also knowing when to apply full brake pressure to cruise to a perfect stop point.

Um, as far as I know, my Amfleets are unmodified. As are the P42DC sounds. I did adjust the idle RPM, so maybe that's why it sounds a little different. Can you be a little more specific on what you're trying to point out?

Which scenario specifically? I haven't had any trouble loading passengers yet, as long as the train is stopped correctly at the platform. And if you go too far, backing up doesn't let you load or give you a green check mark. *!embar*!

Along with the F59PHi, yes. Once everything is finalized, which could be by Valentine's Day, if I manage to get all the information straightened out by then.

I also had trouble. The scenario I ran is "Empire Builder: Part 1" and I ran it two times and both times I couldn't pick up passengers at Browning. I also thought that the stopping point was at fault, so I stopped at two different points with no success. I have "Score Career Scenarios" UNchecked in the settings, so I didn't know if that had any effect. I emailed RSC/DT support with a description of the problem and got the standard "Verify cache" reply. I haven't done that because I don't believe that's part of the problem.
Chris - did you run this one, and if so were you able to pick up passengers at Browning? It's a career scenario and I usually don't run those.

There is a problem. but has nothing to do with P42DC.
Platform markers at Browning are too short. I think boarding/unboarding triggered when at least one passenger car stopped against the platform.
For the Builder trainset you have 2 locos and baggage car in front of the train. With this consist, you need to stop your first "real" car (i.e. coach, sleeper) against the platform, not baggage car. If you stop using HUD counter zero, your largest section of the train is too far off the platform.

p.s. in my scenarios I usually add my own stop markers. This situation could be saved by adding scenario marker in proper location.

That's probably the solution. My second try I was watching the HUD and had my first car after the locos at the platform. I neglected to remember that it's a baggage car and not a passenger. Well, that'll give me another reason to run it again!
Thanks for that!
