That is Donner Pass. Maybe they're releasing both of them at the same time? The confusion is understandable. They didn't say it was for either of the two, and both are in the screen shot.

I believe (sincerely hope!) that the "Wait is almost over" only refers to the F40PH. The Donner Pass in those screenshots is the exact same one we all have now, with instant grade transitions and incorrect vegetation. Pretty sure the Donner Pass will be in the works for a while longer...

The route screens are not the same as what's currently available, and it appears that RSC have been making significant strides in correcting any shortcomings from the original release. A long time coming, but judging by the screens we'll all be happy campers on release day.
Cheers!

Oh, absolutely. I'm sure they just used the current version (not the WIP) for testing of the new locomotives. I just wanted to point out that the screenshots as mentioned by several people do not show anything new in regards to Donner Pass, so there's no reason to believe that they're referring to both DLC's.

This route is starting to look even better than Sherman Hill! Can't wait for the release, but I want them to take their time. It's been almost a year, what more will a month do? *!greengrin!*

I can't help but wonder about one thing. We saw screenshots early on that looked like they were in the Roseville yard. Now we see snowsheds and other such things that are present up at a much higher elevation. But have we seen *anything* from Reno yet? I guess what I am wondering is if someone is just working the thing from one end to the next, in which case they are only about 1/2 done (perhaps 2/3)?

Better than the Hill?
Maybe, lets wait and see.

Track work started where it needed to, that is progressing.
On the art/content front I wanted to tackle the bit that I thought was key.
I know how to do grass lands, open country side etc, I know how to do towns and I know how to do dry desert scrub too, I started where I thought it made sense to.

If anyone has cloned this route and made their own version or used it as a jumping off point for there own route then the terrain will look like a patch work quilt when the new version is released because I have remade and changed all the terrain textures to better suit the environment, I can not guarantee the order is the same. (in fact I know I have not even tried to match what was there before)
Also, almost all the foliage has been reworked and new assets have been added to help near track side detail.
More information and images will be available on our Facebook page over the coming weeks so keep watching.

cheers

I've got Donner Pass and 2012 on my old laptop. So when this update is released, I'm gonna run the OLD Donner Pass side by side at the same time as the NEW one on my 2013 Laptop to compare the entire route to see what all the new changes are.
