It's far too complex for a tutorial (we'd get bogged down in a lot of detail). For the tutorial, we should look for something simpler. The idea, to be able to get through the tutorial without too much delay, would be to show how to get all the important bits and pieces working, and then leave it up to each individual to enhance it with details "al gusto".

Yeah, you're right.

Perhaps for the tutorial we should do about the same engine.

I'll be doing a Baldwin 4,6,0 Ten Wheeler so perhaps you should also do a 4,6,0 Ten Wheeler steam locomotive.

By the way, here's the one I'll be doing.

I managed to find a pretty decent blueprint for this.

i looking forwhere to this route. so they pretty much got engines they deside to add like sd70ace,dash9,sd40-2,es44ac or es44dc,sd70mac, all they need to make is gp38-2 for that line that go to kailspell. i don't think 6 axle units are allow on that line.

Cornell's GP-38 is awful nice. Maybe that's why no one thought it to be much of a priority.

Yeah it is a really good loco. One of my favourites. I'm just surprised RSC didn't see the opportunity to cash in on making one of thier own. GP38-2 is the second most prevalent US loco's behind the SD40-2 isn't it?

Yep, the GP38-2 could be very good choice for another pack for sale. And also as part of "SP Snowfighter pack" (Yes I'm annoing with this, but Donner isn't Donner without snowfighter's geeps, trust me. !*cheers*! ). I hope there is one hidden behind SD45s in the Lord Manu's shops. *!greengrin!*

Marias announcement is great news for me. Most used route in old times and after watching of DVD from Marias area is a true must have. The scenery is one of the greatest. I found myself looking on the mountain range instead of trains first time..:D I hope the entire route will be done - Shelby to Whitefish. it will be nice and emotive return to places where my addiction on american trains started almost ten years ago. :)

This is one I would love to see. I just hope it isn't going to be a union pacific or "black" locos. Hopefully they will do Great Northern and have a nice selection of cars and road names to go with it. I always find it jarring to be in scenarios where every car is the same road..

There is Great Northern stuff out there available. If you have RW Tools it's the work of just a few minutes to change rolling stock and locomotives around. If you don't have it I advise you to get it so you can run existing scenarios with the equipment of your choice.

Sorry, what does that mean?

It means where every wagon is from the same railway operating company (like a British merry-go-round train) instead of being a mish-mash of lots of different liveries,

Cheers,
