From the site. The way it’s set up is kind of confusing.

Can't wait. I love FRC.

Any info when it will hit the shelves ?

When installing this new one, will the old one basically be obsolete?

Release date is expected to be Feb 15.

The old version will be intact and playable as before, but of course will not include the new content. Owners of the old edition will be eligible for a discount on the enhanced version.

Gone for almost 9 months (health reasons) and when I come back I’m presented with this wonderful surprise. While I had made considerable mods to dleeboy’ s extended version, I’m jumping into line to plant this baby on my HD on day 1. Take my money! Big time FRC fan bois!

Welcome back, happy to see you back participating again. I know that you will add your touches to this as well, even though it comes stocked with a lot of goodies.I have been fortunate to be able to run deeboy's extension for the past few years. I have had many trips through the loop.

Don't forget to add these beauties to your new scenarios. http://www.golden-age-rails.com/packsrw/buddrdcWP.html
Unfortunately, it does not fit in the time period of this new version. 1970-1980. But it could be stuffed in the roundhouse in Portola.
"The Zephyrette was a tri-weekly train consisting of a Budd Rail Diesel Car (RDC) run by the Western Pacific Railroad between Oakland, California, and Salt Lake City from 1950 to 1960. Covering 924 miles (1,487 km),[1] it was the longest RDC service in the United States." Wikipedia

Seeing the great shots of this classic rolling stock made me wonder in what decade Feather River Canyon Enhanced is taking place ?

---- some time later... found it

.... Western Pacific’s entire Third Subdivision as it existed in the 1970-1980 era .....
