Another great article, Gary. Informational and entertaining to read. Kudos to Milepost Simulations for developing this route, it looks like a winner. Can't wait for it to come out.

How great all those screenshots full of assets with that air of "antique". !*drool*!

I think one of the shots shows standard equipment on the rail too but I noticed some of the frogs are not rendering properly.

Aha! Another "rib-bit" counter heard from!

I was looking through our model railroad club library last evening and found a book called "Narrow Gauge to Central & Silver Plume" by Cornelus W. Hauck. It was published by the the Colorado Railroad Museum in 1972. It's a well illustrated book with a great shot on both end plates of the entire Georgetown Loop taken from just outside of Silver Plume. I have of yet been able to find any copies for sale but if anyone is interested there may be copies in local libraries or museums.

I just found there are used copies available on Amazon!!

Are the standard gauge cars mentioned by Gary the 30-36ft variety? I'm really not familiar with this 1890-1930 period. Would foreign railroads for this 1920-1930 period be part of the natural traffic? Was cargo manually reloaded to NG stock at the Golden yard/freight facility?

Thought today might have finally been "THE DAY" Its been a month now since this project was announced - multiple teaser articles, but still nothing !*don-know!* It seems like the French TGV route was announced and released in a week.

This is having a serious effect on my mental health !*roll-laugh*!
