Pumped the physics mod out real quick; only minor adjustments, since they did a better job with this locomotive. Also included the physics set for the derated version (CW46AH):

How is this loco?

The external model?
The internal physics?
The sound and smoke?

Does that plow hang a little high on the pilot, it looks odd.
Are there traction motors in the trucks, DTG has left them out in their latest models?
Are the couplers still springy?
It has displays instead of instruments, do the brake indicators work properly? Speedometer and amps bar?
Is TE indicated?

No cars included?

Do you think this DLC is worth full price?

The cab displays work properly. There are no traction motors in the trucks. The couplers are a bit springy, but can be fixed by altering 1 line of code in the coupler.xml files (included in my physics mod). The sounds are sort of stock, but they pass, in my opinion. Physics were ok (modded them anyway lol). Can't comment on the external model; not my area of expertise.

Overall, I think it's worth the price.

Love this loco, and compared to the last piece I bought a few weeks ago, the CSX 80 Mac which has the worst braking system in the world, that goes into emergency at less than 30% application, this loco is worth it's weight in gold. I spent the day yesterday modifying all the scenarios I had with the CSX SD 80 Macs and replacing them with the 6000

Miami for the loco. LS&W extension for the cars.

Did anyone who has posted here bother to consult this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GE_AC6000CW ?

The manual is also available for pre-purchase inspection: http://www.railsimulator.com/support-as ... l%20EN.pdf .

(Sincere apologies to those not wishing to be bothered by the facts.)

For anyone interested, yes, the plow is ridiculously high off the ground. One of the only major mistakes for this DLC, which is otherwise rich in features, sound, and physics. See this comparison:

Even so, this is, in my opinion, one of the best NA DTG releases to date. They did a REALLY good job on this one.

Any possibility that the plow mounting is adjustable?

Only by DTG - it is part of the model, and not editable by end users (short of using child objects, but that would be too messy for this geometry). Even though it looks odd from certain angles, it's not anything to lose sleep over and doesn't excessively detract from the value of the package in my opinion. !!*ok*!!

No, I meant on the real loco, could they vary the height? Many plows are adjustable that way.

Oh, I see. Good question! I'm not familiar with that - not sure.

I'm not either but I wonder if that has something to do with the differing height.
