Engine hasn't been out all that long. If you're feeling antsy, just rw-tools to swap it into something else.

Edit - Also looks like the Steam Tagging is messed up - at least I couldn't find one for it.
This should however work for you

Has there been any luck on the sound issue? I tried to compare the f45 to the sd45 sound files, but went cross eyed after a few minutes.

Umm, Mike, just unpack the .ap file with 7zip. (you should know this one, bro *!!wink!!* )

As far as I know there is no way to repack a .ap file. Shouldn't need to anyways. TS will still read the file, even without the .ap. Release it like any other sound mod, with instructions, and the warning that sounds will get set back to default if the files are verified. *!!wink!!*

I know how to unpack .ap files works fine all you need is RW_Tools latest or newer and the old RS_Tools_Pro 4.1.47 and it works! if you need RS_Tools_Pro 4.1.47 i will upload it to a link here?

I use 7zip, it's free. Drag and drop a file to the desktop from inside the .ap file, edit accordingly (or replace) and drag back into 7zip and it adds the file back into the .ap file. That's how I do it and haven't had an issue. I'm not sure with winrar, but it may work just the same.

I don't know why you would need RS_Tools.

RW_Tools is really good for unpacking ap files. It will find them for you, let you unpack what you need, and flag the unpacked files read-write, which is really important as they are read-only by default.

Awesome is the file here somewhere?

I assume that RSC fixed it since I didn't do anything. I just noticed after I did the re-paint that the sound seems fine.
