Do you have a photo? Is there any particular font or shall I just use white Railroad Roman?

Neil Richardson, who's very good with Photoshop, has started doing some renamings for me. Here's his Rio Grande:

Let me know if they look right. If they´re OK, I'll package them up and submit them to the file library, with due credit to Neil.

Here's another by Neil, this time for Southern Pacific. Again, comments please, before I package it up (neither of us is sure if it's right).

The SP and Rio are wrong. Speed lettering did not exist until the 90's (after Rio bought SP). There is a Roman SP font up at RailFonts... Or perhaps MadMike or I could do it for you since we already own the font (for the SP at least).

Not to be a rivet counter but the herald on the cab sides would have never been there on either engine, just the engine number.

Would that be a rivet counter or polygon counter?

SP yes, but the "speed lettering" for the Rio Grande was actually picked by employees in a contest in the early 1940's.

We got the Rio Grande scheme from this photo:

Neil added the emblem on the cab, but I can't see one in the photo.
