The F59PHI has HEP sounds.
press M.

Otherwise the F40PH-3Cs don't have HEP sounds like you're thinking. They use the same CAT C27 generator for HEP as the F59.

I agree. I would love to see the Port of Long Beach/Los Angeles. That would be an awesome route for switching as its the busiest port on the west coast.

Sweet, indeed.
But aren't these Bombardier cars ugly compared to the Surfliners (which must be a Superliner derivative)? The paint scheme makes for a nice flow of lines and colours to make the rising and falling roof and belt lines less conspicuous.
The Bombardiers (which nickname have they earned) are quite interesting models nevertheless. Airplane tube type construction, riveted (!), recessed doors, they need a master modeler to create that convincing model. Pre-prod shots look good so far, RSC's crew of creators are clearly on to someting lately.

Will gladly buy these, as I will Metrolink's. That covers a whole lot of California passenger service outside of Amtrak.
Now one more "urban" route, with Jack London Square, and I am satisfied for a considerable wh

Indeed. There was once a time when the most unattractive thing I'd ever seen was a Surfliner cab car, and had naiively assumed that it couldn't possibly get any worse. And yet here we are!! !*hp*!

I presume I'm right in thinking that someone is actually paid money to try and make a train look like an elongated packet of chewing gum? *!rolleyes!*

But having said that the models look, er, nicely representitive. :D

With a pair of travelers at each windowpane.
I may sit beside you all the journey through,
Or I may sit elsewhere, never knowing you.
But if fate should mark me to sit by your side,
Let's be pleasant travellers; it's so short a ride."

Only as far as southern California goes, Bob, don't get your hopes up too high .... *!lol!* *!!wink!!*
USA is such a large country, the possibilities for Railworks' routes and trains are endless.

The Bombardier model does look well made.
Do I notice flashing beacons on cab car and engine?

They're Strobes. Same as the F40PH as in real life. :)

That can't be a new F59PHI model. One cannot simply work that fast. It looks like they added the strobes as child objects and repainted the engine. Wow. Reminds me of the days of when we got an SD70ACe and SD70MAC in BNSF paint and 2 different SD70M-2s in NS and CN paint all for $20! I am not buying anything from RSC for a while. I couldn't keep up after Marias Pass. I only have so much $
