In the further ramblings off topic....................."There were also two main classes of F7s: passenger and freight. Most passenger units had upper and lower headlights, but there were exceptions. Many freight units had the upper Mars or Pyle brand warning light as well. And some passenger units only had a single upper headlight, i.e. the Pennsylvania. Many units eventually had the upper lights or the door light removed/plated over and the Mars/Pyle light removed. These early warning lights had a motor and linkages that often required maintenance in the shops. "

Just for anyone unfamiliar with the DTG FP7 to go along with this route when it comes out here's a pic of it. It includes a bunch of other goodies also.

Gary / Michael... do both versions use the same route markers? Just curious if scenarios from the original version can be easily ported over to the new enhanced version. Thanks!

Good question, Howard. Even if a few are different it should (with a bit of luck) still be possible, hope so.

Hi, the track layout from the original has remained mostly unchanged, however there were numerous changes to signaling and switches. In essence, we removed most signals from the yard/industrial parts and converted many switches to manual type. We also changed the speed limits on the whole route as per the period ETT and implemented passenger/freight speeds.

Porting scenarios might work, as most of the pathing is likely still valid. Some tinkering in the editor is likely still going to be required though. Traffic timing might cause issues here and there due to the changed speed limits (which are on average a bit faster now). And then there are the Career scenarios which will all at least need a checksum refresh (either using the "build checksums" function in the script compiler window, or by moving or flipping a static car and saving the changes).

Thank you for confirming that it might work. I figured there would be some "adjusting". It's good to know that the speeds were increased. *!!thnx!!*

I am looking for the Snow plow for WP F7s and or FP 7s. I have been searching the library but I am having an issue in finding them.

Unfortunately there is no download link for those. I think I remember one here possibly by Buzz. I know he did one for ARR. It may have only been a link in a forum thread. It was around the time the first Feather River Canyon was released.
