Is anyone else having a problem at Hardman East dropping off the helpers in the Trailer Jet 4 scenario. I am getting an unsuccessful flag every time and I have even added a stop instruction to no avail. I have stopped with lead engine at marker, with caboose on marker, cars on marker all fail. Is it me ? I am running in standard not career, is there a time restraint?

Well I finally got to Grafton (5th attempt) after I modified the track marker and used it for a stop instruction and a drop off.
I’m sure I could hear John Denver singing Country Roads as I climbed down from the cab. !*roll-laugh*!

That scenario is touchy, but do'able. Best to stop with the helpers on the marker, then release the brakes enough to pull the couplers tight, then cut the helpers off with the front end moving ever so slightly.

Yes, I have had to do that in the odd scenario/route. I remember one that you had to uncouple some wagons but as soon as you did they coupled up again so I uncouple them with the train moving slightly forward and that worked.

IMO, one of the best values for a route DLC available on Steam, might have to pick it up sometime. Anyone also have a general idea about the horns the GP9 sported? Looking to update my 567 sound pack (available on Train Sim Community) with the proper B&O specific horns.

Been running the Scenario Add On DLC - I do love Road Switching with genuine period road switchers. Once you get used to braking on the GP9 it's a delight, what can be better (RS32, RS 36 C424 maybe can only hope) These scenarios match the route (all should, these do). Recommended (if you hadn't already guessed).

Very much appreciate the kind comments, John. While on the topic of the B&O Mountain Subdivision route, we have developed a patch for a number of relatively minor but nonetheless important improvements to track, scenery, signals, etc., and expect it to go live on Steam quite soon.

We're pleased to announce a patch addressing a number of track, signaling, scenery, and other refinements for the B&O Mountain Subdivision route is now live. Your route should receive the update automatically via Steam, but as sometimes is the case you may need to restart Steam to activate the download.

I just took my first ride on the B&O Mountain Sub and it was awesome. This just might be the best available route at this time. Glad I finally got it. Remembering loading the original Railworks CD when it first came out (special order by a local game store), it is AMAZING how far this simulator has come. It seems its only limitation is our imagination and a little research.

My gracious appreciation goes to the creators of this route. Thank you for your great work.

A few months not coming over to the forums. I bought it the moment it was released and I am amazed with this route. I haven't had the chance of using all the locos (I've been having a lot in my plate lately) but I did the full run with the geeps and I loved it, it was very challenging, the route is very long and beautiful, and it has a lot of rolling stock.
Thank you very much people of HIS for bringing it to the sim and congratulations for doing this amazing route.
