[quote="BoostedFridge"]I echo ENR3005's sentiment in that I'm glad we are still getting new routes at all. There is enough CN equipment and repaints available to populate scenarios in a wide range of time periods too, beyond just the SD40-2W.

It looks like a spot where someone missed a paint stroke or flood. No biggy.

Looks like a texture error, good chance it could get fixed before release. It took me a little while looking at this beautiful CN Pointe St Charles caboose to actually notice what was off about it besides the odd shade of red.... The grab irons on the actual ones are painted bright white while what's shown is red..... I'd imagine this should be a relatively simple fix for one of our talented members to do.

I love the RSC SD40-2W with Michael Zimmer's repaints, have had them for many years, and with Searchlight Simulations soundpack installed, it's party time every day....... !*YAAA*!

The answer to which is no, you are witnessing (from the cab) a westbound train approaching the Michaud wye, where it will take the leg of the wye toward Roma while a freight off the Daishowa Sub waits in the clear on the north wye. Another screenshot in the article shows the meet occurring.

Wondering the same thing here. Looks like the dev team wasn't paying attention to the signals! !*roll-laugh*!

To which the explanation is stated in an above post. And the route is also train order territory (OCS clearance), no signals.

Nice repaints! I’ll have to grab those for sure.

That’s quite a few articles now, i wonder if release tomorrow is a possibility?

Now out. The SD40-2W is standalone and not an update of the existing model. https://train-simulator.com/canadian-railroading/

so far i bought the route and it pretty cool. the sd40-2w has same sounds but it has working class lights, cab light, head and ditch lights and the radiator fans are animated. the scenery is cool. they have crossings with canada red and white stripe cross buck signs witch is awesome and added crossing with no arm and one with arm. i haven't try the missions yet. but for 30 bucks it kinda worth it.

update. the sd40-2 had raindrops on windows and caboose has real lights that turn on in reverse and cab view as well. neat...

I just so happen to be off today too, nice. It's a pretty great route, as mentioned it does have it's drawback but how can I argue with CN and former NAR. I'm digging it.
