Everyone on Steam complaining about the price. In my money it is only a $6 NZ increase on ordinary DLC. I have purchased this and I have to agree with one complaint with the coaches not being very reflective.

In the Railvehicles/Diesel folder you have 4 locos F7/FP7/F9 and a U30B.
Intel i5-10600K CPU, Asus TUF GAMING Z490-Plus (Wi-Fi) MB, Graphics Asus RTX 3060 TI 8GB OC TUF gaming card Windows 11 Home 64 bit, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 ram, Viewsonic VX2728 LED 1080P FHD Monitor, Samsung 1TB SSD + other conventional drives, Corsair 750W PSU.

Don't understand why there is a U30B mentioned. It is included with the route.

Matt's Twitch stream stated it took them 8 months to build mainly because of the rolling stock. It looks decent enough (and I have been looking forward to it), but what is the feeling here? I don't trust Steam reviews and the forums even less,

The reviews seem reasonable. Aside from the limited passenger views, some of the complaints are with the F-Unit cab and sound. The model is based on the one I supplied to RSC/DTG long ago, but they've never bothered to contact me regarding glitches and cab/sound inaccuracies in this or previous releases (these issues are not present in my ATSF set). Had they consulted or allowed me to check them out before hand, perhaps these problems wouldn't have shown up in the first place. *!rolleyes!*
Cheers!

Feelings??? You can only judge those for yourself. Remember, if you don't like the DLC, you can ask for a refund within a certain time period.

About the cars not being shiny or even reflective? Isn't that a limitation of the current game engine and its shaders/renderers? I cannot recall shining metal surfaces on any DLC, but the water is sort of reflective.
I am sure Reppo, the creator of the cars, knows his stuff and has tried every option.

Perhaps with he promised UE4 engine the Zephyr will truely shine?

Re the F7 issues: can the better sounds of Hack's F7 cab be ported to the WP/DRGW cabs?

Edit: are those Warbonnet F7's shiny?

I bought your F units back in the RS2 days. Are they any different today in both art and sound. With all due respect and I mean that sincerely the sounds I have are not all that realistic. I love the F's as you know from all the re-paints I've done of them and somehow nothing seems to quite capture what my memory tells me they sounded like. Like I said I bought these things five years or more ago.

The set turned out great, at least the passenger cars look good. don't have it yet though, but since i'm not a rivet counter, i can look at the cars and see that they look great. good job reppo
Da Build: Intel Core I5-9600k, Nvida RTX 2060 Super, 32 GB ram, and way too much storage.

I would love to update the sounds, but with the route building, F updates have taken a back seat. *!sad!*

Hi,
There are a number of fixes being worked on regarding this pack, will keep you posted.
Marc, the guy who heads our audio may not even know of you I'm afraid or the history behind our older packs.
However, I have updated him.

thanks
