Cool, hope it gets fixed.

The Superliners are not a bad idea to include. They certainly will have use with scenario writers who wish not to use certain DLC packs for the missing rolling stock. The NPCU and Horizons should have great use especially on the Racetrack and Surfliner routes; as the DLC appears to have scenarios for the Miami route it would be best for the scenario writers to use the included long-distance equipment. With that in mind having Viewliner II equipment in this pack would also be excellent!

I guess they just might as well add the whole Amtrak roster to this pack then! Two schemes + passenger stock is already pretty generous for a DTG offering.

It's always nice (amusing) to see the complainers make a big deal about everything only to find out everything's been fixed when it's released.

See the thing that gets me, I am a pilot and work for the FAA now. Before getting into TS I flew on flight sim, a lot. Still do to this day, it amazes me the level of detail and close attention to the smallest thing, PMDG simulations do amazing work!

Then you see some of the mistakes made either on purpose or by accident from DTG. Then you wonder wow its such a vast difference when some companies will go out of there way to model temperature variations of the cabin with the aircraft door open vs closed on the ramp at Las Vegas. Please don't misconstrue this as a complaint, I am not nor intending too, I am just thinking out loud knowing what FS addons are out there and how systems deep they can be. !*salute*!

Train sim is the same way. Look at Mike Rennie, AP, Oovee, Railright, VRC, Searchlight, etc that all go the extra mile to actually simulate things rather than poop out models every couple months. It's just that for US stuff the process is relatively slow because there aren't as many skilled 3D or Lua developers around that are interested in the North American content.

Very true, full agreement that 3rd party developer far exceed DTG, Metra route comes to mind. Makes sense regarding so much more high fidelity content available across the pond then US due to the heavy interest there.

The subject is supposed to be the Amtrak Dash 8-32BWH not members opinions of who makes better models. What part of this don't some of you understand? Now I don't want to get into another round of mass deletions so please get back on topic.

What kind of alerter did the locomotive have, the slow beep... beep... beep... Or was it the faster pulse sounding one, I don't know how to sound it out via keyboard but in my head I can hear it lol.
