This petition has been around for quite some time and has been abandoned by the instigator of it.

That's what I expected. It's just a game, so nobody cares, beside rather small community of players (in world's scale)

What I still fail to understand is why they don't just 'un-brand' it and put it back out there. Let the community deal with the nonsense of the Buffet Boys as I call them. There aren't that many references to corporations in that route. This is getting to be a big joke that's not very funny of these corporate weasels with not enough to do making trouble for those of us who are just trying to make our way through the day and have a little enjoyment from a hobby we love. That includes the folks at DTG who can't seem to be able to think outside the box.

That's what I was thinking.
I have Marias Pass already but I wonder why they can't just swap in some of the Racetrack stock which is already unbranded.
The F45 is the only thing I want that I can't get.

I don't think Marias Pass can become unbranded because of the way the SteamDB entry is set up.

There might also be a factor here, and I speak as no expert on the subject, that the DTG perception might be that if they 'simply' unbrand the BNSF assets it could be seen as making an ornithologically referenced finger gesture. If you imagine for a moment that negotiations are ongoing (and I've no idea what's happening) and BNSF see DTG basically saying "Sod you, we're doing it anyway", then if I were BNSF I'd feel well within my rights to withdraw from any further discussion.

Just a thought. Which is never a good idea.

Won't work. BNSF wouldn't care if you spammed then but then I'm sure other people would start complaining about people spamming or whatever and blah blah blah blah.

More logical answers being brought to this thread, what's happening to us all
