Don't know if its in the works, or could be done as a reskin, but on the BNSF line the F40PHM-2's are far more numerous than the F40PH. The PHM's were the last of the F40's to roll out of LaGrange in the early 90s. Any chance the old EMD plant in LaGrange is included??

Does Metra have any F40C's left? You almost never saw them on the BNSF line tho

The F40Cs are restricted and have always been restricted to the MILW lines. They have never left them. The ONLY time one has left the MILW was a set with 614 if I'm right ran on the North Central Service do to the original set breaking down and needing a replacement. So a F40C DLC for this route would not fit properly at all. A MP36, F40PHM-2 (preferred), or BN E8s would be more accurate.

They're still there? Talk keeps swirling of rebuilds, but who knows. It would be nice if they got donated to IRM if Metra isn't going to do anything with them.

And you are right, they did almost never, if ever, leave the north lines.

Industrial properties? How about Unilever Bestfoods, Cat Tractor, Dial (now VVF) Soap, General Mills, plus a bunch of smaller ones. Also two large intermodal yards. This commuter route does freight!

We had to stop somewhere: the CSX Interchange at Congress Park is modeled, but we stopped around 47th St, just short of the EMD Facility. Feel free to expand the line & mod in the factory if you'd like however.

I am more curious than anything on how they handled the southern end of Union. That's a challenging bit to recreate more than the north end IMHO. As well as the cab views for the F40PHs and cab cars.

I have a question about the passenger cars, do they have texturing and actual windows/doors, because the 2nd photo on this thread (on page 2) of the maintanence facility, the cars seem low in textures and what seems to be pictures as the windows/doors. Was wondering, since the cars look more textured, and also seem to have the bigger windows, on the other couple of screenshots. It is a different car maybe? Was curious...

They're low-poly models to be used as yard filler without destroying your frame rate.
