Fun fact, the bells on CNW units with the gong bells were trainlined so that the bell would ring on every unit that had the gong bell set up.

I always wondered if a lead unit could through MU, have all their horns blow at the same time. I'd imagine it would be able to be done with a software tweak on modern locos.

That GP50 looks nice. I agree with others.... the road grime looks really good. !!*ok*!!

Hi Guys.
This one is mine too. DTG had some kind of problem with the BNSF licence (I think is solved now) so they ask me to change the model to the UP version and left the BN pack for marketplace. Now this pack has two models, with and without dynamic brakes (ex Missouri Pacific).

I am glad to see more models to choose from. I was wondering why the market on locomotives is being flooded.

I believe all of the UP GP50's are ex-CNW.

I just went and looked through all the pictures I could find and there doesn't seem to be any with gong bells. Some had the horns right over the headlights and some more off to the side. That old MoPac paint job was kinda slick.
Wiki info.
Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway 45 3810-3854 All now in service with BNSF Railway
Burlington Northern Railroad 63 3100-3162 Most now in service with BNSF Railway
Chicago and North Western Railway 50 5050-5099 All now in service with Union Pacific Railroad
Missouri Pacific Railroad 30 3500-3529
St. Louis – San Francisco Railway 9 790-799 All went to service with BN. All units were delivered shortly after the merger. #3100 (SLSF #791) was delivered in Orange and White, but with the BN numbers in Orange with no BN lettering. The rest 3101-3109 (SLSF #790 and #792-799) were delivered in BN paint.
Southern Railway 90 7003-7092 High hood units; 34 active, 56 retired.

DTM's SD45 is my favorite model currently available in the game, glad to see this one. As an aside from a couple pages ago, so the GP30 is done but just in line to be released? Is my understanding correct on that one?

So judging by that the model in the screenshots is technically an ex CNW locomotive? But on the other hand if its ex CNW that would mean it would have to have ditch lights as CNW was bought out after they became mandatory.

The Gp30 thats been mentioned is the one that was made by DTM pre TS2012. Is been off the market while they update it for a while now.

See: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=386416&nseq=1

C&NW merged into UP in June 1995. Ditch lights not mandatory in US until end of 1997.
