Yes, I'd like to know why every North American route released to date, except one, has been modern or present day. So far the only exception was Horseshoe and it was set in the 1950's. Of course the major blunder on the Horseshoe curve route is all of the freight trains are missing their cabin cars (cabooses to non P-Company fans) According to the rules, it was not a train until it had a caboose attached to the rear end. Helpers were added behind the caboose because they all had steel frames.
With that said, How about some routes set in the 1960's and 1970's when we still had the ALCO Century Series C424, C425, C430, C630, C636 running the rails. Along with EMD GP20's GP35's, SD35's, GP38's, SD38's, GP40's SD40's (NOTE: Not dash 2's), SDP40, F45, FP45, SDP40F. Also how about the GE Universal series or U-Boats U25B, U28B, U30B, U33B, U36B, U25C, U30C, U33C. Plus in the 60's you still had Fairbanks Morse H16-44's (Baby Train Masters) and H24-66's (Train Masters) polishing the rails of several major class one railroads. Not to mention all of the first generation motive power that was mixed in with second generation power in some very interesting power lash-up's. Todays railroading has become very borning, no wonder they call themselves transportation companies and not railroads today. Look their goes another EVO and another Ace. I'm glad to see another Canadian route, but can we get that back dated about 30 years just before the release of the SD50 ?????

I'm fairly certain that it's not. The Moffat Tunnel line is generally referred to as the Moffat Tunnel line or the Tunnel Subdivision. When most people mention Rollins Pass nowadays, they're referring to the abandoned segment of track that leaves the mainline at Rollinsville and rejoins at Winter Park, not the line as a whole.
As to seeing the D&RGW line from Denver to Glenwood Springs (or even Grand Junction?) in Railworks, it does sound like a pretty cool idea. I'm not sure it would be super interesting operationally as the grades are pretty steady across the entire subdivision, but it would be cool to run nonetheless.
Thanks,
Eliot

Maybe it's a double length route including elements of both subdivisions?

Cheers John![]()
I've actually known this route was being made for a long time now which is why I haven't posted any updates to my WIP in a while. Unfortunately my route will now be vapourware![]()
I checked my Morants Curve against the picture and the DEM matches. This means only one thing,
We are going to have a monster of a route to play with
