Very nice video. Notice how strong and clear the horn sound is, even from a great distance. You don't really hear the clanking sounds until the loco passes you. Looking forward to running this great engine.

I had the volume cranked up at the beginning of the clip and nearly fell off my chair the first time it blew. :D

I kid you not, every time I listen to that whistle, I get emotional ... pass the hanky time. I'll have to pull out all the stops to do it justice.

Very nice :D There is a wee bump in the middle of the loop, but nothing that can't be fixed in five minutes.

I'm going to do my own set of sound files though, because I want to experiment with quilling again. I tried it when I was developing the Connie but it never sounded quite right (passable, but not good enough for me). However, I have some ideas about how to do it properly.

Mike, try using random selected beginning and end oneshots for the whistle, the loop being a normal full blast.
