I've been working on physics updates for the 70MAC, ACe, -9, and 75s so they don't slip all the damned time.

One thing that I'm very happy to see is that RSC has included 3-D concrete ties! I think concrete ties look much better than the old wooden ones. I don't know if I'll get the SD40-2 pack though. I love having the older paint schemes and locomotives, but I love ES44's, too. We'll have to see.

The SD40-2 doesn't have ditch lights so we can paint them in fallen flag schemes and it will be prototypical! Hooray!

I really hope that the SD40s come out at the same time as Marias Pass! I want to make some BN scenarios! I never bought the RW2 one because of the freeware ones at the time. One thing that I don't understand is why RSC didn't include the Dash 9 or ES44AC since theyre probably the most common engines on the pass. !*don-know!*

I thought BNSF used exclusively DC power over the pass with some ES44C4's given that it has much more gentle grades than most other transcontinental crossings.

I do believe so? although like anywhere it is possible to see other locomotives once in a while.

(video was uploaded last month)

If you check out this video you will notice the first train has a C44-9W leading a grain train with a ES44 trailing and a pair of dash9's on the rear. So I think its safe to say that you can easily see more than ES44's on the pass every day.

My experience of watching the CN and UP here west of Chicago is if you stand rail side long enough you can see near anything on the front end of trains so chill out folks. More of less anything goes. There is no purity here.
