Wow...what the heck?!? I just made fun about some people posting on their blog a few weeks ago asking for seasonal clothing when there are much bigger issues to address.....and they GOT seasonal clothes AND new colors. !!bang!!

That cool and all..... but I don't remember much outcry over this. I suppose this is more of an issue with commuter heavy routes like the NEC and most of the European routes. I'm more of a freight guy and prefer freight heavy routes. Well apparently somebody's itch needed scratching. I guess I won't be too upset considering the other improvements we got.

2015 improvements? Designer label clothes! !*roll-laugh*!

I just want more vehicle models, like interstate buses, RVs, various trailers, fire trucks, bicycles/motorcycles, ATVs, stuff like that. Also maybe driveable rail trucks?

Seriously? Why? Let RCS work on improving the game engine and getting us the tools to make great routes. There are countless RW site which have all the clutter you speak of.

Oh, there is a drivable rail truck in the library.

From what I saw in Altoona you can just put her on the AMTRAK. It was worse than Continental Trailways back in the 70s.

People often commented to me about the curvy nature of some of the lady passengers which was a great source of amusement. I just explained that the design Team were very young and their imaginations had run away with them *!lol!*

What a great feature though. Clothing to suit the season and time, and in varying colours too, plus more control as to where passengers move around. People on platforms (and anywhere else you like really) add a great deal to the enjoyment of this simulation and despite the passengers fading in and out like the ghost of Anne Boleyn (said to be seen in Seven different locations in the UK!), the effect is good and only a little imagination is required to 'see' those people really getting on and off the trains.

Whatever next ! !!*ok*!!

Typically, I only see platform people as I pass by driving a freight train, but this improvement may at least address the clone club effect. Another sporadic problem on platforms involves people whose walking paths take them up into the air and down into the concrete, not to mention over the tracks and through each other. All of this can be pretty entertaining as I pass by.

A real people improvement would be allowing scenario creators to lay down paths that would take workmen from one place to another within a yard or around an industry.

I actually kind of like the new UI; I'll wait to make my final judgement until when TS14 actually is released.

I prefer the TS2013 interface. The above is a bit too "social media" for my liking. *!rolleyes!*
Cheers!

Too true - emphasis seems to be to dumb everything down now days. That said, I do like to new consist builder. Looks to the MSTS heritage - length, weight and image. This to me is the best of the announced updates

The consist editor is one of the main things I am looking forward to in TS14. RSC seems to be taking a lot of what MSTS was and implementng it into Railworks. Stuff like lighting, the consist editor, quick drive, the Multiple-Asset-Placement system; it all was inspired by MSTS.

Only 15 more days... And I CAN'T WAIT!!!! !*YAAA*! !*drool*! !*brav*! !*cheers*! !!*ok*!!

I'm pleasantly surprised with this new interface.

It is much cleaner, and it goes back to an important basic concept: when you start a game you should get a menu. TS2013 departed from this, in that you started in the Collection, without having elected to do so. I found it very irritating that RSC had made that choice for me, especially as I never use the Collection.

I find the menu simple and intuitive.

It is the second time I'm pleasantly surprised with this new version. That's quite a change from previous upgrades.
