Here's the piston crosshead guide with the addition of the lubrication points:

Mike's making sure the rivet counters have nothing to count about.
"If you really needed a diesel locomotive right away, then go ahead and order a ALCO. But if you could wait for real quality, then go for an EMD or a GE".

That's right ... exactly as I've seen it in colour photos :D

EDIT: that said, the colours still need balancing, but I do that when the loco is nearer to completion, when I've got all the texture files done. I'll make the colour of the truck wheels closer to that of the drivers. I'll probably end up tweaking all the colours anyway to get the right balance, saturation, etc. Then there'll be the variants to do, and the different degrees of weathering ... so much still to do.

I'm making an effort to have it ready this year ... can't say when exactly. I could cut corners, but I'd rather maintain the standards.
