It's a beautiful looking route however for me...

-The lack of branding bugs me (I completely understand why it had to be that way and I hope BNSF changes their mind at some point)

-Commuter routes apparently just are not for me. I have Miami - West Palm Beach, Pacific Surfliner, Both NE Corridors and I rarely use them. I spend most of my time on mountain routes and for reasons I cannot quite explain I really enjoy a few English routes (WLOS, Weardale - Teesdale, Maerdy).

That being said because it looks like a nice route and I will probably pick it up at some point. Probably a sale item for me.

For many though it sounds like this is exactly what they have been looking / hoping for quite some time.

That has the passenger stock covered.

The freight locos and cars, one can swap them for proper BSNF stock with RW_Tools. That will probably break the career scenarios, so convert those to standard scenarios first.

According to SteamDB: https://steamdb.info/app/222617/

Stevens Pass is still being sold with BNSF branding outside the USA, so why not use the branded stock that is included with that route?

There are several cab ride videos on YouTube.

I also have HD video of the route between Aurora & Harlem Ave

I can post a link if desired

I see within the BNSFChicagoAssetsSystem .ap file that the BNSF logos appear (System/TexturesUSA). For those of us outside of the States any ideas on how to get the branding onto the GP38's?

I could swap out with Stevens Pass engines, but it seems a shame if the branding is already available.

Thanks btw to Buzz for the Metra branding :)

Loving the route.

I would guess if would need the right text entered into the Geo file to put it in the right place on the loco. Unless someone tells you what that text is and where to put it in the Geo file it's a case of looking at the stevens pass Geo file and trying to work it out.

Well that will broadcast RWA to the masses. That said, based on the caliber of comments of some people on Steam forums, I'm not sure they would fit in here. !*roll-laugh*!

Actually no, I think the wheel sounds are put together very well. So far I have the cab car sounds finalized but I'm still trying to toy around with the F40PH sounds. Not getting the desired results but I'll eventually get it. I have a video rending right now of a cab ride from Naperville to Chicago, i'll post a link in here tomorrow once I have it uploaded and processed.

Please put it in another thread because it's not part of the route.

Do you really want to start another food fight? Mods are not about the route. They are thing some of you want to change.
