C&P loads fine, and in about half the time that 2013 took. 4 minutes vs 8 or 10. Love the new mouse-wheel zoom in freeroam mode and when editing. (that is new, no?)

I can get into my route just fine if I remove the tracks.bin file. the file looks to be in tact and fine I ran through it but if I put it back in the game crashes. how can this be if everyone else has a working seattle and soo line and I don't?

IM also failing to see any of the new features other than distant mountain terrain. I will read the manual I guess.

BP editor works fine for me, there is no more asset editor you click file preview and it will load up your asset that way now.

If you're a developer and find that the Blueprint Editor isn't functioning (and also that you backed up TS2013), copy BlueprintEditor.exe and InterprocessCommunication.dll to your TS2014 folder. Create a shortcut to the old Blueprint Editor to use until a fix is distributed through Steam.

Some features aren't showing up, such as the Geometry Export feature mentioned by RSC.

Here we go again!! But it might all be due to Steam not delivering everything in one go at the same time. Don't put the blame on RSC just yet.

I am finding missing stuff in the old Kuju folders, or rather RW_Tools is.
It might be that the update bulk wiped/deleted "protected" asset folders, like with the upgrade to TS2013, and spooled in their new ones.

Blueprint editor is working on my side, just imported this new item just now.

NRL Shop House 1 B.jpg

And yes, I exported this into the sim after the TS 2014 update, it's just a little tricky to figure out at first, you just have to export the item twice, give the editor a chance to save it before you X it out and then export it again to make sure it exported with your settings.

Also, I can now run at highest settings with TSX off still.

My Steam TS2014 DL'ed 2.8 GB at 7:05 this morning. During the Update and Install phase Steam went in to "Download Paused". Hitting continue, Steam runs for a few seconds and then goes back into "Paused". !*hp*!

Tried exiting Steam and starting it again. My DL just goes back to paused. It's now 11:05 **!!bang!!**

I haven't found a single issue with 2014 yet. All my routes load and run fine. All my stuff from the Big Sandy is still there and working. The in game graphic's are outstanding frame rates are acceptable with everything cranked to the max. The new menu is ok, Really like the CRT-G Google earth overlay in the editor. Loads like a rocket on steroids. So far very pleased with the UP date. Maybe running 16gigs of ram has it's advantages?

All DLC/core game features seem to be fine,so far. But I am also one who can not edit or run a 3rd party route, including my own. I have done 3 game cash verifications, with it showing missing files each time. One PC reboot so far. I find it interesting that some users are having no problem with their routes. And I also wonder why some have had to delete the 2013 track bin file. I will just wait, and see if a upcoming update fixes this. PS Steam say it needs to reacquire 111 files, but I do not see it "working".

nevermind hitting the ctrl+g key overlayed the maps in a flash. awesome little feature I must say. I love love love the consist builder. way to go RSC!

anyone having issues with 3rd party routes should try going into the game using the freeroam scenario. then you can go into scenario editor, after that they work for some reason. this was after I restarted my computer 2 times.

I could load some scenarios and not others.
For Donner Pass I got a "Railworks.exe has stopped working" error in Windows, no SBHH error message from RW, though.
I'll verify local files and try later. Probably a glitch in the update for Donner Pass.

All my green ticks have disappeared for Donner Pass scenarios. Seems logical if the route was updated.

Nice clean interface. Not enough contrast for old eyes but I don't spend a lot of time in the interface. It follows the current "social media" fashion of light grey on white.
Headlight flare is an advanced option in the graphics menu, default is on. Old locos don't seem to have it.
The credits mention "the members of the Railworks America community web site" as sub contractors, nice! Can't remember if this is new.
The first TS startup is slow, but now there are messages on the splash screen and it was stuck at "synchronizing with Steam Workshop" for a long time. Subsequent startups didn't have this problem. It seems to be loading faster than before.
The railyard background sound in the menus was replaced by music. We'll see how we feel about that after a few days. If this plays in the editor someone will go mad.
Over the hill and gathering speed

Last time I had a problem (TS2013 release), the issue was that I'm on Windows XP. IIRC, RSC said all development is on Win-7-64, and although Matt provided a Staem-level fix, I guess I'm screwed again. *!sad!*
