Google offers an excellent Google Earth app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ogle.earth

Think of this as me handing you a fishing pole.

You guys aren't being as helpful as you seem to think you are. First, the google link doesn't turn up much that is relevant. And even a google earth look at the route as it exists now, assuming you know where to look for it, won't tell you whether the *route developers* plan to copy that current state faithfully or implement some other version or simplified track plan.

Here's a link that might help though:

Let's cool down this thread a bit..:)

Scenic Sub is mostly singletrack, to my knowledge. More info here:

Hi,

Regarding rolling stock and equipment, this is being sorted out at the moment, we so can't go into detail about that yet.

Single track: this route is entirely single track with passing sidings, except for the parts along Puget Sound and through Wenatchee.

Q. Are the track types (wood or concrete ties) prototypical? What about things like bridges and grade crossings: Are they in the right place and of the right type?
A. Yes. We followed the 1998 Track Chart and the 2006 Employee Timetable as closely as practicable, augmented with field photos taken by ourselves and others, and aerial photos by Google and Bing.

Q. You said the route is mostly a single track main with passing sidings. Doesn't that make it difficult to write decent scenarios?
A. Difficult, but not impossible. We think you'll enjoy running trains on this one.

Google Earth/Google Maps: if neither works try Bing Maps which has images of equal, and sometimes better, quality.

Ski Resorts: there's one at the actual Stevens Pass but it's not modeled in our route. The railroad runs well beneath the pass, through Cascade Tunnel.

Surprised I didn't find this until now, but I'm hooked! I've played the Streamlines Inc. MSTS Version of the route, so I (somewhat *!rolleyes!* ) know what to expect, and it would be excellent to have it in Train Simulator. I wish you guys luck, and I assure you that I can't wait to see what happens with this! !!*ok*!!
