Derek and Bob,
I am pleased that RSC continues to produce high quality USA routes and the Marias Pass route looks like another winner, but (and you knew that was a but coming !*roll-laugh*! ) Can we please have a few more East coast routes with the era set in the second generation diesel era? Here are a few examples for your consideration :

The good news is the world did not end in Dec 2012, so lots more from RS.com over the coming years!

Serious question for you. Why do you say that when there is a very nice GP-38-2 out there now with approximately a zillion re-paints and there are so many others that could be done?

Buzz, Justin Cornell's GP38-2 model is a very nice model with a great looking cabview but at the same time it's a BNSF GP38-2. Why do I says it's a BNSF GP38-2? Because of the placement of the front headlights. Another problem is we do not have a non-dynamic brake version of the model. To some people this is not important, to others myself included, I'd very much like to see a GP38 with a high mounted headlight and chicken wire grills, a GP38-2 with a high mounted headlight non-dynamic brake and a few versions without ditch lights. I guess to put it another way, why should RSC create any more steam locomotives since we already have steam locomotives? The answer to that question is the same as the answer to my GP38-2 question, because not all models are represented yet. But along with the GP38 and GP38-2, I'd also like to see a GP35, SD35, SDP35, GP40, GP40-2, SDP45, SD45-2, SD45T-2, GP50, SD50, SD60 and SD70 and those are only the EMD locomotives. I'd also like the see the first GE U25B up to and including the C30-7's and all of the ALCO's, Baldwins and Fairbanks Morse locomotives. Again Justin's model is a very nice model, but one size does not fit all and there is plenty of room for variations *!!wink!!*

BNSF had them with high headlights also. We'll see what can be done about that. The non-dynamic brake is a whole nother issue.

I am debating a few ways to do that.

oooh I like that SP geep, is this going to be another snow fighter but in SP?

speaking of snow fighting locos, didn't some of them have their original window wipers removed and replaced with the rotating disc wiper off of the rotary plows? I swore I seen some of those somewhere?

They had the circular wipers. I plan on making those as well.

They actually aren't wipers in the sense that most think of. Google up "spin window"
