Why is this necessary? I think DTM has a set of cars that are pretty nice from that era. Digital Train Models (DTM) SDP40F-ATK Pack[/

Because Buzz to a degree he's right. Looks like from the pics, save for a F45, the rest of the engines and cars are the same as what came with the Raton Route. Be nice if DTG would also offers their routes with out the equipment. Would save disc space by not having to upload the same cars and engines for the uptenth billion time.

Well, most of us know what that means.

The timespan between the announcement article and release-date of the product has absolutely nothing to do with the amount of time the developer devoted to creating the route, which was very considerable indeed.

Thus, what you claim "means something" actually means nothing, other than giving yourself an uninformed opportunity for a snarky comment.

My main issue with the stock is simply, I've already got it. I don't care if it's exactly perfect or not. I just thing there is a huge flaw in the way DTG packages stock and sells it, because now I end up with multiple copies of the same thing. My railworks folder takes up 130 gigs on my computer which is a lot.

I already have the F45, the GE, and I can't even begin to count how many iterations of the same SD40 model I have now. Because of other routes I've got multiple copies of the Big Boy, Challenger, P42, and don't even start on the ES44 (This is just a tiny amount too btw, I could keep going)..... I would waaaaaaaay rather see the sim set up so every locomotive model is one separate file. If I buy a route that uses that loco with a new paint scheme it just adds the repaint to the file. That way I would have one base loco and all routes etc that use that loco take from the base.

That would make file management, repaints, storage, everything easier. Yet if we want a route now we need to install another copy of the same loco, using up more storage space and more unnecessary complications. Obviously the sim is too far along to set it up like this but boy would I ever love it if it was. Instead of tracking down which route I need to buy to get what repaint, I would know if I have the model, I can get the repaint.

That's a great idea!

Why don't you bitchers and moaners take it up with DTG let this forum be about what you like like or dislike about the route and stop the incessant whining about the same thing? It does no good to complain here. Now how about a real problem?

The same problem is on the ROW (Rest Of the World) version where the branding isn't the "Missing" is. Ticket submitted.

Rolling stock is abysmal, even by the usually low DTG standard. Route itself is actually decent, but the lack of anything good to run on it in the era it's supposed to be kind of takes away from it.

Yes sir. I'm in the US and that's what I thought I bought? Did I need to specify?

Yes. there is two versions that were released. USA and ROW (rest of world) it just seems that the decal textures were forgotten when packing the ap up for release. Should have been caught in DTG QA. !*roll-laugh*!

I am seeing it reported other places that everyone has the problem in both versions.
