RRmods. Like I said, if you all post on their FB page, you would have a better time showing them you as the community really want it or their other goods.

Kudos to the developers for this route! It is going to be awesome! As with most cases, no route will ever be 100% perfect, but the best part, is that we have members who can create and modify rolling stock, scenery models, etc to suit their taste "IF NEEDED." Great Job MILEPOST!

I'm trying to wrap my head around the concept of CN selling a railroad and buying it back 8 years later.

Also did that with the Ottawa Central, New Brunswick East Coast and two more in Quebec.

I'm looking forward to backdating this route to the NAR.

Actually when you consider CN got tonnage off the route since its the only connection to the outside world it made sense to buy it back when that other company was basically going like it was, CN wanted to keep the profits from the line. Plus it's part of the very few routes that gives access to the rail lines up north. The other two routes are the old bc rail lines in northern bc and the route up through Grand cache south of the city Grand Prairie.... At least I think that's how it is, I would have to refer to a rail map to make sure

That's Adam's models :P

Honestly, the RSC SD40-2W does look bad IMHO but that's why we have repaints. !!*ok*!!

Chacal wrote:Finally a CN route! I'll start saving money.

Milepost Simulation's two published routes have impressive features such as mountains and canyons, but lack a finishing touch for scenery. They need more vegetation, clutter, etc. Rivers need work. Definitely not on par with the WIP routes we see here daily. I wish he would team up with a "finisher".

But they are fun to operate as they offer a good challenge.

Load up the editor and fix this? Esp. with a 40 mi. route. I certainly will be!

We are lucky we are getting new routes of any type given this sim is over 10 years old. When doing such a project you can only use the talent you have for such a task. Milepost appears to have the talent to do the routes but not the equipment which is often a problem with many vendors in this sim and others. This being said you now know what you are purchasing, a route not the equipment. It would however be nice to see more partnerships between some of the vendors so we could get some better products at the end of the day. Some vendors may find they get better exposure of their product by working in this manner. Even a dedicated replacement equipment pack would be welcome. This route populated with some of RRMods equipment as noted by another forum member would be excellent. There could also be further options to back date it prior to CN's take over when a mixed bag of equipment roamed these lines.

I echo ENR3005's sentiment in that I'm glad we are still getting new routes at all. There is enough CN equipment and repaints available to populate scenarios in a wide range of time periods too, beyond just the SD40-2W.

Is it just me, or in the cab picture posted above are we witnessing a soon to be head on collision? !*roll-laugh*!
