NLL, WLL & GOBLIN: Backdated is a good example

The main part is to replace some of the railway 'furniture' to an earlier period
DTG did it with the Rivera Line
I backdated NYNH would be quite good for EF-4 and maybe a Conrail version of the same loco and also the GG1

And here's a (sort of) Quickstart Procedure that I've just worked out (for the running version, not the "cold and dark" one):
- from the engineer's seat, check that reverser is in FWD position, power handle at 0, train brake at RUNNING, dynamic brake OFF, loco brake OFF
- from the nose compartment (or the F4 HUD), check that the loco handbrake is OFF
- from the engineer's seat, move the CONTROL SWITCH to RESET and hold it there with the mouse until the Control light on the left side of it switches on
- now you can go... watch the ammeter, don't go into yellow zone for too long and react to wheel slip promptly

No,
Everything is covered quite well in the manual. You just have to read it thoroughly. Get in, go to the nose, open the little cabinet and close the battery knife switch, turn the pantograph source air ** to select the manual pump, pump til your pantograph has made contact with the OHLE, close the ** back to normal, go back to the cab and access the electrical cabinet between control stands (facing rear), close all bottom breakers first, air should start pumping and you should hear blowers turn on, etc, then close the traction motor isolation switches, set up control stand, and you should be good to go.
