I am no longer affiliated with DTG products and have decided to return to doing just my own (Oovee) and assisting other third party developers.

The P32AC's electric mode did not work properly, the diesel engine was still on even if on DC mode.

Thanks for noting that. I have the heads up that your sounds are used on the Surfliner commuter trainsets, which should be totally fine. I wonder if you will update the SD40 sounds to use all other SD40 DLCs...like Kuju, CSX NYNH, NS High Hoods (old and new), United Way; the F45 sound to be use on DTM SD45s.

I understand it's off topic...but where else?

For the FL9 I hope there will be a Metro-North skin for it, even better Amtrak, Penn Central, and Conrail.

Oh waaa. Nobody, no model of rolling stock or locomotive is perfect. Creating DLC or freeware for any game will take time, and will have an error or two. If you want to run the real thing, go work for the railroad. Pretty soon the nitpickers, rivet counters and their kin will want to have realistic chairs that sway with the virtual cab. The content creators will release roughly 2-3+ versions of the same locomotive to account for the various types of users, or not. Unless you want to actually work for the railroad, take the complaints elsewhere.

Sorry, but to me an omission like that goes waaaay beyond rivet counting and perfectionism as it's a core function/feature of the locomotive. If the Acela had diesel engine sounds would someone be a rivet-counter for complaining? It's dishearteneing to see the trend on this forum of some people mocking others who raise legitimate complaints with DLC (and I don't mean those who complain about paint colours being off by one RGB value, or a headlight being misplaced by two inches, to me that level of criticism is unnecessary).

Hopefully the FL9 won't have this issue, or if it does, DTG will be upfront about it so consumers can make an informed decision.

Wow... I didn't know they made manuals for individual DLC. That's a first for me. It's definitely a good idea. !!*ok*!!

Yes. Last time a manual was posted before a release it was the sd80mac which came out 2 days after the manual was put up.

Most DLC have individual manuals. They are listed in the "steam/steamapps/common/railworks/manuals" folder. Once there, you can open the language of you choice.

With that I highly doubt the release its tomorrow. I have a good feeling that the same sounds as the Kuju F7 will be used but with a new horn.

Problem is, the ACS-64 was introduced after the FL9 was retired. Bloody epic fail. The workshop scenarios better use the AEM-7 as AI.

I hope the Shoreliners will be named differently in the Quick Drive editor/asset picker.

Ok, thanks. Didn't know.
I was wanting them for the New Haven route. (just diesel )
Maybe I'll take a crack at making a skin of one of the other B units then.

Have you ever stood by a P32 at Grand Central Terminal?

tycoonkid9 wrote:Problem is, the ACS-64 was introduced after the FL9 was retired. Bloody epic fail.

"Bloody epic fail?" I guess we should not have GP30s or SD45s or DDA40AXs or Cab-Forwards or U36Bs or the GN Empire Builder or anything else that does not perfectly match the era of the host route then?

tycoonkid9 wrote:The workshop scenarios better use the AEM-7 as AI.

I think that will be up to those who take their time and effort to actually contribute to Workshop.
