That's what I meant to put in my post. IIRC, CSX is the only railroad with the steerable trucks on their units.

"Pre-release rivet counting" does sound funny though.
There's not much else to check/test on these two since they are basically repaints... sort of... the steerable trucks are new modeling and maybe some other detail that I'm not enough of a rivet-counter to notice. I'm just trying to make sure they get rid of the UP sticker in a cab.
Since the steerable trucks are used on mountain routes, I hope they will add the new "multi-difficulty" braking feature on the ES44, but I think that takes some special programming. Supposedly that feature is not backward compatible.
I inquired about other future CSX works and the reply was that there are "several things planned" but not a route yet. To me, this sounds like a good opportunity for folks to campaign for a midwestern (I'm thinking IL) route.
I'm happy just to see they got the colors right.
