Is it just my copy or has Donner been de-forested?

did you clear cache?

Before the route used the foliage pack, I removed and replace them with a new set that was local to the route.

Hi Derek,
Thanks for the quick reply, just cleared the cache and let the game restart. That solved the problem !!*ok*!! !!*ok*!! The route looks beautiful, make sure to thank everyone at RSC for such a wonderful Christmas present.

That helped a lot, clearing the cache.

Nice new coniferous trees, they cast realistic shadows now. Finally the route looks like the High Sierra's in summer.

I bought this route when I saw that Derek was working on the update of it. The original was justly panned, but I expected good things from Derek and his crew. Am now running the first scenario, and had to pause to come say: Bravo!!

I've never been over Donner Pass, but if its anything like the mountain country in my native Colorado, then you've nailed it! The view out the cab window is both stunning and quite realistic. I'm going to spend many immersive hours on this route. Thanks.

I'm getting great FPS, btw. Locked at 30, no problem. Of course, I'm up in the mountains, not down in Reno yet.

I just realized mine is as well. I'll heed Derek's advice. Glad to know that this isn't how it's supposed to look. I was a bit discouraged with the mountains lacking trees. !DUH!
