I'd buy it now but I heard about FPS Drops and what not so I'm going to wait for now. That and moneys kind of tight right now. I've been waiting for this route since before it was even announced, but I probably have given RSC 1000+ dollars now and I just can't do it anymore with these 40$ routes. *!sad!* But judging by the screens, the route looks amazing. As always, good job guys!

Amazing route! !!*ok*!!
I did a Quick Drive north from San Diego and the route is awesome! !*YAAA*!
I have a very busy work schedule so that is all I have time for until the weekend. *!mad!*
So far, I like what I see! I bought the bundle and there are quite a few new wagons too. More later. !*salute*!

How are frame rates? It's been suggested that it runs with lower FPS than most other routes.

On my system I get 35 to 40 fps on it, but only run one PHI and 4 or 5 cars. When I do a 5 ES44 and 100 containers, it is between 16 and 20. The bigger the train the slower it goes. Then there are the static consists. In the LA industrial area, which is about 25 miles long are lots of sidings and spurs and yards. If you populate these too much, you will be crawling.

1. The first training scenario for the BNSF ES44 is faulty (at least on my run). The tutorial doesn't mention that you need to set the switches, so you are shunted to the wrong track by default & run into another consist.

My son attended a conference in San Diego about a month ago and when I was telling him about the Surfliner route he ask, "did they model the Grand Hyatt Hotel?"
I was pleased to text him a screenshot last night and say, sure they did! !*brav*!

No LRV's running up and down under the catenary?

Can we substitute some from UKTS, if only their PCC car, for I think the British trams are left hand running only?
