Does not say if scenarios can be played off line or that scenarios can be played without being involved with the career system. Needs clarification from RSC.

Except the problem with career scenarios (as well as timetable) is that they don't really promote safe or accurate railroad operation. If you're a few minutes late to your next check-point or station (whatever the case may be), you fail the scenario because the reason you were late is due to a yellow signal.

Another problem is that I don't like being forced to do something that I don't want to do. I don't want to play career scenarios, I never had any interest in playing career scenarios and I think the whole thing is nothing more than a cheap gimmick by RSC in an attempt to mimic XBox Live.

Alright, I gottca, that could definitely be a problem. I guess we will have to wait till September to really see how this system is implemented and how it will change gameplay, who knows, the new scenarios may not put such an importance on time.

and honestly, I feel like the overhaul of the career scenario is taking development time and resources away from other aspect of the game that RSC could be working on, like some of the more core issues like AI/Dispatch/Signaling and Multiplayer.

The career mode is basically time trials. I do them anyways cuz I'm an achievement nut and want those scenarios with a check box by them. But yes..... they are unnatural.

I look at the features they added in 2013 and look at the 2014 features announced so far..... and it's as if they came up with a list of the top 25 most requested features and went with the bottom five. !*roll-laugh*!

I feel like at this point, RSC needs to either say "Here's what we can, and can't do with the game." or "We're not interested in improving this aspect of the game, this is our direction." and just put their cards on the table.

RSC doesn't "need" to do anything. If one would respectfully inquire directly to someone there perhaps you might get a answer. There used to be more questions answered sometimes when people here asked but then because good manners were largely ignored even tho I see someone from RSC reading here the comments have gone away. Funny how that is......

Now now! I think the lighting and shadows are a bit different. Or is it that it is shown on a $16,000 super wombat PC? *!lol!*
