Appears to be available in the "you can pay us" sense, not in the "you can play what you payed for" sense :-)

Sorry to get excited prematurely....

I think you simply have to wait. RSC have indicated a slight problem in getting the route downloaded to everyone, they know about it and are working on it.

Hi Folks,

Apologies for the problems - we believe this is now fixed and your downloads should kick off momentarily. We just did a test purchase ourselves and the route started downloading, so you should all start getting it very shortly.

Pacific Surliner is one single asset pack and route folder 00000027. All scenarios appear to be Career scenarios at first sight.

Single asset and route packs in .ap format are good for it means less chance of corrupted downloads and need to verify the game install.

There is whole bunch of freight cars included, so that Krellnut proxypack comes in handy after all.

Off driving some trains along the surf ....

Engine on the quiet side from the outside, but nicely damped sound in the cab. Control car cab ditto, modern cars have this kind of occlusion from outside sounds.
Horn a bit tinny, and the ditch lights flash when hooting.
Cab car has only the engineer position occupied, and isn't the correct spelling 'independent' brake?
Smooth riding cars, curves superelevated, when the passengers board, the car slightly wobbles it seems?

Handling seems smooth as well, on both throttle and automatic brakes.

Question though, don't these modern cars have EP-R brakes, with graduated release and electric propagation so all triple valves actuate at the same time and with rapid release after those typically short station stops?

Great to get confirmation from you all that it's all working.

Really looking forward to reading your feedback on it, the team has worked a lot of long hours on this one and we're thrilled with it.

My first impressions are favourable. The false start already forgotten, I enjoy driving these new trains. For they present a completely new experience amongst the traditional US freight operations.

I am driving the cab car on a late night run for starters, to cannot comment on the palms, beaches and other California features.
Off to bed soon, and then the US players can evaluate further.
