We are just asking for simple fixes, why would someone release a game and have incorrect details? Why not make it good the first time?

Because the way you guys gripe about everything all it does is discourage developers and would make so no one could ever finish anything. If you are so dern good why don't you go make a perfect route.

Because I am not a "developer" I am a tester, and a railfan. Just saying.

I think the anti-criticism thing has gone overboard here... there is a place for suggestions and questions from detail-oriented users who expect high quality for their dollar. Trying to snuff any and all of this isn't right, just as incessant whining and unrealistic expectations isn't right either.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Buzz is right guys, nobody is perfect. Even my repaints aren't perfect, but as long as what ever you are working on is as close to the real thing as possible. I try to stay prototypical when I do my repaints, but sometimes you are limited to what you have to work with. And like before when DTG announced the Metrolink, Coaster, and Tri Rail, they had issues with liscencing, so they released unmarked versions of the trains. As far as I know all of the mentioned roads now have repaints done on the library or a website. I expect we'll be seeing an official repaint for the rolling stock after the release of this add on. I saw some of the preview myself and personally like what I seen in scenery terms. So if you guys are going to nitpick the details, back off! This puts added stress on developers and modders alike. That's my **!!2cents!!** for now!
Take it easy on the new third party developer here. You are doing a great job on this route Barnez keep up the good work!

Personally, I think the only thing that needs repaired is the crossing. Everybody complaining about the Ditchlights flashing to quickly or the Gyra Light is too slow just needs to learn how to fix it themselves. Much like the people complaining over the Sounds on the F40PH being the same as before.

Matt said yesterday that if we had any suggestions let him know and he'd pass them on. So I thought it was okay to request stuff. Sorry if I caused you to be angry.

I suggest that nitpickers direct their suggestions to the authors by PM or to DTG instead of more or less 'calling people out' in the forum. I know from experience that most of what this does is just annoy the creators.

See my suggestions that most of this would be handled better by PM. There is not enough details to satisfy some.

I like my ditch lights flashing at 128 bpm. *!greengrin!*

My impressions from the video....

The track work (especially the criss-crosses) and numerous yards are just awesome! !!*ok*!! I also don't recall seeing that much halogen lighting in any other route as there is in this route's Union Station. Insane! !*drool*!

The scenery out in distance could be a little less sparse between Aurora and Chicago, but I also do realize this is the flatlands of Illinois too.

Overall it looks like a winner. I'm not really into commuter routes, so I may only pick this up way, way later if I'm hard up for a new route. Pacific Surfliner is the only commuter route I liked enough to pick up early.
EMD 2-strokes rule! My all time favorite: SD45X also love the SD40-2/SD40T-2/SD45-2/SD45T-2/DD35A/DDA40X/SD70ACe/SD80ACe

Ok gang, allow me clarify a couple of things for everyone:

1. This forum isn't DTG

2. Neither myself nor Rick are employed by DTG

3. Neither myself nor Rick were able to A. see the Twitch preview live or B. see any of the comments/ chat during the preview

4. If Matt or anyone at DTG is assembling a "summary of events" from the preview it hasn't gotten to us yet.

Problem is, no one has done that to other models. Do you think anyone had to fix that before? I dont.

If someone said that earlier, I wouldve done that.
