Sounds like a custom horn and bell, and modified proxyxml for the engine sounds.

It is. The P32 proxy is pretty messed up. Only one prime mover sound as compared to the normal three (low-mid-high). Used the ES44 proxy. Trying to get the dynamic brakes to work now...

That's because I intended to use the sounds as P42 sounds, but I had no time to create P32 sounds from scratch.

I watched your video. My issue with it is when the engine is in pusher mode at the station platform. As it starts rolling down the track away from you, the engine sound volume stays loud. There is no slow lowering and fade-out of the sound like it should as it goes off into the distance. Don't know if it's you or Anthony that didn't get that right. I don't have the content yet to test. Sounds pretty decent otherwise. Much better than the terrible default P42DC sounds that don't sound like a 4-stroke GE engine at all.

Yeah I know what you're talking about. I was still testing out the distance levels in the proxy. All are realistic now...

Finally had some simming time to try out this route. DTG did a bang up job on the scenery on this route. Trackside vegetation, roads, highways, buildings and stations, its all there and it looks good! Im sure DTG will come out with a fix that adress some of the problems mentioned by others. The 33% off the price on a new route was a welcome surprise. Thanks again DTG! !*brav*!

Woody - the victim shoe will depend upon your gait, I suspect. However, I hope I can reassure you by saying that it's slightly different s**t this time around. *!!wink!!* !**duh*!!

The bits and bobs noted here and hereabouts have been noted and will be sorted.

Since I'm not supposed to be here, I shall now withdraw. Gracefully. With two clean shoes. !!det!!

!!howdy!!

Or I may sit elsewhere, never knowing you.
But if fate should mark me to sit by your side,
Let's be pleasant travellers; it's so short a ride."

I think people who do not know what they are talking about should be quiet. There are at least 20 people here at RWA who are beta testers, including me. And there are at least another 120 of us from around the world. You have no idea how many projects are in WIP or what else is going on. We are only beta testers. We do not have control over what is released, all we do is report our findings and DTG takes over from there. So get these thoughts out of your mind as it just ain't so.

+100 We work hard to help resolve any issues with a project, and I know DTGs staff does too. Its not like they don't care, but as with any other aspect in life, time is a gift and a curse. :)

Now that I've spent some time with this amazing route, I thought I'd post a few comments.

First of all a disclaimer on my possible bias in my comments: I've lived in Palm Beach my entire life, 54 years to be exact! Yikes! !!jabber!!
Needless to say I'm very familiar with this route and the surrounding scenery.
I suppose that might qualify me to say: Kudos to the DTG team and everyone else involved in bringing this amazing route to life in TS2015! !*salute*!

The great lengths that were put into the details are certainly appreciated by anyone like myself familiar with the area!
The West Palm Beach SAL station is a National Historic Place and the modelers treated her as such. Beautiful work! !!*ok*!!
There are detailed land marks galore! The old Jai Ali fronton building at Mangonia Park, the WPB water treatment plant complete with the unmistakeable Mizner influenced water tank design, the airport Holiday Inn building, the Lake Worth water tank "ball", even Lake Worth Utilities electric plant!
I could go on and on as giddy as a kid at Christmas about the details, they pop up in every view and I just shake my head and smile! :D
The Australian Pine trees, a South Florida exotic tree are iconic silhouettes of the SCL right of way, and yep DTG modeled those too! !!howdy!!

To have my hometown modeled in TS2015 is a thrill and this route has far exceeded my expectations. I know from the very limited amount of route building I've tinkered with myself that a tremendous amount of work went into making all of this happen and for that I am very appreciative to everyone that played a roll in developing this route!

To release this route at a discounted price was a wonderful Holiday gift too! If you haven't purchased this route yet, do it! It's the real deal! !*brav*!

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a prosperous New Year to everyone here at RWA. !*cheers*!

Will this be on sale at a lower price in the future, or even free during National Train Day?

I doubt a new route like this will be at a lower price than it is now, already marked down significantly.
