The Empire Builder normally uses 2 P42DC's (or the odd upgraded P40DC), 1 baggage car, and 6-8 superliner cars.

Why and how would they refuse?
Amtrak passenger runs would be defined by scenarios, not by the route.
Anyone can write a scenario using available Amtrak equipment.

Sadly they have not made P42s since 2011.

Its not the scenarios we're worried about, its whether the route has Amtrak stations or not.

Of course it does. It wouldn't be a representation of Marias Pass that's accurate if they left out details.

I would really like if RSC updated us about the release date on this route. I had no school this week and I was hoping I would able to play it while I was off.

Same here. Hopefully by Monday morning they'll have all of this March Madness crap out of the way.

Not to mention, I loved the route to Kallispell to pick up lumber products! This route is one US route that will be very interesting to play. I keep saying it, but I seriously cannot do without Amtrak on this one. It will be the first western road that we can actually use modern Amtrak equipment on. Sh, Amtrak doesn't use. DP, has to be 90s stuff. CP, yes, but its a boring route with no intermittent stations.

I agree. I can't wait to run some Amtrak over Marias pass! !*YAAA*!

I'll be driving some steams through maria pass as well.

I wish there was some BN stuff too. I never bought the BN SD40 when it was available because of all the freeware ones that you can download.

There are repaints of the SD70MAC into the original BN colors with the numbers on the long hood, plus a variety of patched ones and even some in H2 and H3. If you go onto golden age of rails there is a whole BN heritage pack which contains BN boxcars, woodchip hoppers, coal hoppers and a few other things. GAOR has lots of BN stuff that's perfect for Marias!

not a problem! !*salute*!

On another topic, what are the typical commodity's that are shipped over Marias, and how are they typically set up in the train? What I mean is that what are the unit trains, mixed, locals, and how are the mixed through freights usually set up? Are their coal trains on Marias or are those routed over Mullans Pass to the south?
I would like to create a few prototypical scenarios for the route and I would appreciate this information from anybody who has it! *!!thnx!!*

Coal trains aren't rare over Marias Pass, but they aren't common(If that makes sense) I don't know much about the coal over the pass but I THINK that empties and loaded coal goes both East and West. I know BN used to run Trough trains through Marias Pass too.
