This is not true. Double-headed block signals are present on the WP along the single track sections as the last signal before an interlocking (junction) signal.
On a more general note, your statement above is not correct for typical North American railroad signal rules. Double-headed signals are commonly found as block signals along single track lines. One head would often not be enough to display all possible aspects that can be encountered one block before a junction.
The presence of a number plate on the signal mast is a common identifier for a block signal on most or perhaps all railroads in NA. Unlike in Europe, interlocking (junction) signals typically don't have a number plate.

Michael

Hi again,
No broken track here on my build, see screenshot below. Tested minutes ago in the Steam version of the route (the .ap packed one, so definitely not my dev build). My TSC is also up to date.
Have you installed any mods, extracted the .ap and/or made any changes to the route yourself? If so, I'd recommend deleting all those and then let Steam re-install the DLC by unticking and re-ticking it in the DLC browser for Train Sim.
Cheers,
Michael

Obviously, that's different than in my run. And as I mentioned above, I had not realized that broken track before.
I don´t have any scenery mods. I don´t know if converting an unwanted career scenario to standard by using TS_Tools, counts as a mod.
I will check my system to see if any network change has slipped in, either in the route or in the scenario itself.

Thanks much for the update! Yeah, accidentally selecting a piece of track is way too easy. I've lost count how often I've done that myself.![]()
The editor has a selection filter than can prevent this from happening:
-- hold down "T" key while selecting items and it will only select track network pieces
-- hold down "L" and it can only select loft pieces
-- hold down "S" and it will select any standard scenery but no tracks or lofts.
Cheers,
Michael

Did you have the camera/view setting to maximum (wide angle) field of view? Otherwise we do not experience this.

An idea for scenarios.

In regards to those UP locos, this is what I found from the UtahRails.net website:
"During June 1980, 15 SD40-2s were leased to future merger partner, Western Pacific. The leased units were lettered on the cab side, below the cab window, with "Leased To Western Pacific" in 3-inch black letters. Included were UP 3352, 3360, 3419, 3421, 3424, 3475, 3478, 3504, 3519, 3528, 3536, 3542, 3546, 3565. Eleven of the units were returned to UP in October 1981."
So the searchlight UP SD40-2 (specifically the as delivered version) wouldn't look out of place in scenarios.
