Please calm down people. Let's not be insulting each other. I have had my fill of deleting posts this week.

FanRailer, I was saying the Comet Vs are numbered in the 6000 series in real life. The manual somehow has a picture of the cab car number seen in the 6300 series range.

I am highly sure DTG will create a patch with the newer version of the NJCL assets. Has anyone peeked inside the .ap file and checked the date of the files?

I will post a separate mod-release video later this week. Still ironing out some last minute issues myself.

I've also checked with a friend who purchased the DLC a few hours after the links went live; the numbers for the Comet Cars that come with the NJCL have been fixed, as has the striping pattern on the ALP-45DP. It seems like it was an initial release fluke that only affects the first set of buyers on steam.

Does the number patch affect both the Comet IVs and Vs? I believe Steam auto-updated those first buyer copies to be up to date.

I'll have to disable the the Dynamic lighting, the fps on the route, with the locos, reminds me of the M8 the first nearly 8 months it's been out.

I'd have to ask my other friend who purchased the DLC before the number patch worked its way onto Steam. I'll get back in a moment.

Well, I determined that the problem of the game continually crashing to my desktop was related to the NJCL's supplied Quick Drive scenarios. The career scenarios work fine, and I'm able to create and run my own custom QD scenarios. But even the simple QD scenario I made to explore the route south of Long Branch gave me problems, culminating in a sudden and mysterious derailment as soon as my train left the platform. I've had enough of this for one day. I started a technical support ticket with DTG. Here's hoping they issue a patch.

This route is very computer intensive but I love it, Ive ridden the NJCL many times in real life.

Heres a few more. On a PC performance note, when running the ALP45, turn off the in cab light and you will notice a good framerate jump up. No train crew is likely to run with that light on anyway unless they are stopped.

That's the major problem I have with TS2016 locos-the cab light being on by default. it's a massive frame rate killer and is a bit of a hassle to try to turn off every time after loading the loco. it should remain off when starting the sim as per most TS2015 and older locos.

The screenshots all look really nice, be sure to give a heads up the Bay Head to New Haven workshop route is released.

Regarding the Comet V cab car, I just noticed how atrocious the tricolor looks on the cab end. It appears to be lazily slapped on and not edited out, with a hideous looking white box sourrounding it.

I inquired about the cab light and the response I got from DTG was that they are trying to pander to people who play this game on X-Box, where there is no control to turn on / turn off the cab light. My question is who the heck in their right mind plays this game on X-Box????? !**conf**! !*don-know!*

FanRailer, is it possible to go in and...break the scripting/xml file to force the switch to stay off? Btw nice job on the soundset and physics mod I saw on youtube. Any chance the horn sound mod can be made to not make that weird thumping while looping? Either way Im a fan of your work.

DTG has big plans for the UE4 version probably ....
Then we must look forward to more disadvantageous "compromises" at the expense of the PC player, for the Xbox controller has no buttons left over for common functions like sanding.

Back to the NJCl at hand:
Do the locos and cab cars have advanced braking with independent bail off and graduated release, this is purely passenger stock after all?
